Training on first aid to students in Sembel sub-zone

Asmara, 09 July 2026- The National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students branch in the Central Region has provided six-month training on first aid to 127 students, including 113 female students, in Sembel sub-zone.

Ms. Aster Tsehaye, head of the union branch in the sub-zone, commended those who contributed to the successful implementation of the training program.

Ms. Tsega Elias, administrator of the sub-zone, commending the effort to enhance the overall capacity of the youth, called on the trainees to apply the knowledge they gained from the training in the service of their community.

In the same vein, the cooperative association of the first round of the National Service provided certificates of appreciation to teachers who took part in the summer education program organized by the association, as well as textbooks to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
