National Festival 2026 to commence on 18 July

Asmara, 10 July 2026- The National Holidays Coordinating Committee announced that the National Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from 18 to 26 July at the Asmara Expo compound.

The festival, which will be held for nine days, will feature traditional and modern music performances, traditional villages representing the cultures and traditions of Eritrean ethnic groups, agricultural and marine resources of Eritrea, seminars, bazaars, photo and material displays, artistic programs, innovative creative displays, children’s programs, among others.

The coordinating committee also indicated that the festival compound will be open to the public from 9:00 in the morning until 9:00 in the evening. Service provision institutions will also be in place to provide services to visitors.
