As it will be recalled, US Senator Chris Coons, and his ilk and minions, had floated preposterous allegations accusing Eritrea of perpetrating “gross atrocities” in the war that raged for two years in northern Ethiopia.
These cheap and deplorable acts were prompted by malicious and entrenched policies of fomenting division to exacerbate and further compound the prevalent war.
These wicked and hollow ploys are being resuscitated these days under different forms and variants.
Eritrea will not be drawn, as ever, into mendacious acrimonies, fully aware as it is, of the moral bankruptcy and underlying ulterior agendas of the whole gimmick.
