The Minister of Natural Resources, Mr Mohlomi Moleko delivered the opening remarks at the ceremony where His Majesty King Letsie III is set to acknowledge receipt of the Global Water Partnership Presidential Award.
The event began with a prayer led by the Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL), setting a tone of gratitude and reflection for this momentous occasion.
The ceremony marks the formal recognition of His Majesty’s leadership in championing the Lesotho Highlands Water Project as a model of transboundary cooperation for peace, resilience, and sustainable
development.
