The Ministry of Foreign Affairs successfully held a Political Consultation Meeting with the Republic of South Africa on Tuesday 21st October 2025.
The Political Consultation was co-chaired by Her Excellency, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Hon. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs on the Nigerian side, and Her Excellency Thandi Moraka, Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa. An agreement on Early Warning Mechanism and a Joint Communique were signed at the Meeting.
