Golden Jubilee Programs of Revolution School Conclude

Assab, 22 September 2026 – The Golden Jubilee commemoration of the establishment of Revolution School in the Southern Red Sea Region which featured various programs under the theme “Vibrant Commemoration: New Impetus for Nation Building,” concluded on 20 September at a ceremony held at Blen-Coma Hall in the port city of Assab.

At the concluding event, attended by Brig. Gen. Abraham Andom, Commander of the Eastern Command, and other regional dignitaries, Ambassador Mohammed-Seid Mantai, Governor of the region, said that although establishing a school under difficult circumstances required farsighted vision, the program had succeeded against all odds.

Ambassador Mohammed-Seid went on to say that the commemoration serves as a reminder of the need for concerted efforts and investment in developing skilled and committed human resources capable of contributing their due share to building a prosperous and developed country.

The event featured artistic performances by the Red Flowers cultural troupe, awards to the winners of sports and cultural competitions, and the presentation of certificates of recognition to those who contributed to the successful implementation of the commemorative programs.

Similarly, Eritrean nationals residing in Egypt commemorated the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of Revolution School through various programs, including songs performed by students of Adal and Bana schools and a photo exhibition.

A seminar focusing on the history of Revolution School was also conducted at the event by Mr. Adm Idris, a former student of the school.
