GOVERNMENT DELEGATION UNVEILED LESOTHO’S INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN NEW YORK.

The Minister of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Honourable Nthati Moorosi, together with Minister of Labour and Employment Honourable Ts’eliso Mokhosi, attended a high-level investors’ engagement organized by the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Lesotho to the United Nations in New York.

The meeting was led by Ambassador and Permanent Representative Matete ‘Nena and was also attended by the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Kanono Ramashamole.

The engagement brought together international investors and partners from sectors including energy, digital infrastructure, mining and minerals development.

During the meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of the Lesotho National Development Corporation, Mr. Thabo Khasipe, presented Lesotho’s investment opportunities and strategic priorities. Investors also engaged with the delegation through a question-and-answer session focusing on infrastructure development, investment opportunities and future partnerships.

The meeting highlighted Lesotho’s commitment to attracting sustainable investment and promoting innovation-driven economic growth ahead of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
