Popular campaign in connection with Martyrs Day

Sawa, 23 June 2026- Members of the Sawa National Service Training Center conducted a popular campaign at the Martyrs Cemetery in connection with Martyrs Day, 20 June.

The popular campaign, in which over 1 thousand 300 members took part, included renovation of the cemetery compound, tree cultivation, and environmental sanitation.

Captain Tesfatsion Tewolde, head of construction staff at the training center, said that the popular campaign was part of the activities carried out by Eritreans inside the country and abroad in connection with Martyrs Day.

Captain Ateshim Haile, head of administration, on his part, said that activities carried out every year in connection with Martyrs Day are part of the pledges the Eritrean people make to live up to the expectations of martyrs.
