Chingola Youth Get OB 19 and 22 Mining Dumpsites

President Hakainde Hichilema has directed that the youth of Chingola District be empowered through access to the OB 19 and OB 22 mining dumpsites, to ensure maximum productivity among the young people in the district.

Speaking at a rally at Chiwempala Ground today, the President emphasised the need for safe and legal mining, adding that no single life should be lost in mining activities. He urged the youth to seize this opportunity responsibly, highlighting the government’s focus on sustainable empowerment.

President Hichilema further called on residents to support the UPND for the continuation of development programmes, citing the revival of the mining sector,which had been on the brink of collapse, as a clear demonstration of progress under his administration.

He also reminded the crowd that the UPND government has eliminated violence in markets, bus stops, and other public spaces, restoring freedom and safety for all citizens.
