Commemoration of Golden Jubilee of Revolution School

Massawa, 18 September 2026 – The celebration program for the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of Revolution School was officially opened at the sub-zonal levels in the Northern Red Sea Region on 17 September under the theme “Vibrant Commemoration: New Impetus for Nation Building.”

At the opening event in Massawa, Mr. Tewolde Kelati, Minister of Marine Resources, and Ms. Asmeret Abraha, Governor of the Northern Red Sea Region, officially opened a photo exhibition.

The program, which will continue until 20 September, will feature a musical concert, sports competitions, and seminars.

Similar programs are also being conducted in the sub-zones of Nakfa, Afabet, and Ghinda.

In the same vein, at the opening event in the port city of Assab, at the Southern Red Sea Region level, a photo exhibition was officially opened by Ambassador Mohammed-Seid Mantai, Governor of the region, and Brig. Gen. Abraham Andom, Commander of the Eastern Command.

The program, which will continue for four days, will feature seminars, cultural and artistic performances, sports competitions, as well as narrations reflecting experiences.
