LESOTHO COURTS DATA CENTRES AND MULTI-SECTOR INVESTMENT AT DUBAI TALKS.

 The Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho had highlighted new investment opportunities in data infrastructure, agriculture, trade, and job creation during ongoing engagements with Dubai Chambers in Johannesburg.

The Minister of Information, Communication, Science, Technology and Innovation, Honourable Nthati Moorosi, said Lesotho has strong potential to host data centres, citing the country’s water resources as a key advantage for cooling digital infrastructure.

She added that the investment drive goes beyond data centres, with opportunities also opening in agriculture, trade, and digital services as part of efforts to attract diversified investment and create jobs for Basotho youth.

The engagement forms part of broader Lesotho–UAE cooperation aimed at strengthening economic growth and innovation partnerships.
