Music is part of every worthwhile struggle

Various singers yesterday peppered President Hakainde Hichilema’s launch of his campaign for the August 13, 2026.

Whether it’s Deny Gee Kachaku and his Tiya Ngoma hit, Chile One, Y Celeb, Yo Maps, Aqualaskin, Muzozo pa Muzozo, Xaven, Organised Family, Abatalali, Kings Malembe Malembe and others, they were all present, outside National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

The thousands who turned up to listen to President Hichilema’s message were not deprived, entertainment wise.

At the end of it all, it was a jam-packed political rally that was high-flying on both ends – political message and entertainment.
