Support the Government That Delivers: President Hichilema Urges Kitwe Voters

President Hakainde Hichilema says his administration has delivered on its major 2021 campaign promises, citing a revitalised mining sector and targeted job creation.

Speaking during a rally at Kitwe Playing Fields, President Hichilema noted that rising mining production and the introduction of a local content law are now key drivers of Zambia’s economic recovery and employment.

He further highlighted widespread infrastructure development, including road projects, while dismissing opposition criticism of the UPND Government’s achievements and cautioning against political misinformation.

The Head of State said his government is maintaining forward momentum, pledging sustained investments in healthcare and infrastructure, alongside civil service salary increases as the economy grows.

President Hichilema expressed gratitude to Copperbelt residents, thanking them for their role in ushering the UPND into office.

“You stood with Bally, and Bally stands with you,” he declared.
