Training on database management
Asmara, 25 April 2026 – Training on database management has been provided to 43 workers of the Orotta College of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The theoretical and practical training covered familiarization with databases and their significance in document management, as well as in providing timely and effective services.
Noting that the training will have a significant contribution in upgrading their knowledge, a representative of the trainees called for reinforced investment in enhancing the capacity of workers.
Dr. Yemane Seium, Dean of the College, said that the training, which was provided by experts in the field, will have a significant contribution in addressing the shortcomings the college has been facing and called for its continuity.
Similarly, vocational training ranging from two to four months has been provided to 191 youth, including 116 females, in Adi-Keih sub-zone.
Mr. Ibrahim Barole, head of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students branch, indicated that the training covered water pipeline installation and motor maintenance, first aid, and beauty salon services.
